These should be made with solid or tone-on-tone fabrics.  Also bring 2 spools of thread in colors that contrast your quilt sandwich fabrics.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eIn the second class, students will build on the foundations learned in the first class, while also learning two more free-motion quilting techniques:\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cul\u003e\n\u003cli style=\"font-style: italic;\"\u003e\n\u003cem\u003estitch in-the-ditch\u003c\/em\u003e\u003cem\u003e\u003c\/em\u003e\n\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli style=\"font-style: italic;\"\u003e\u003cem\u003eoutlining large prints\u003c\/em\u003e\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003c\/ul\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eFor the second class, students must bring (1) quilt sandwich made with an \"orphan block\" - this is any quilt block you have made that is at least 8\" square.  Also bring a quilt sandwich made with any fat quarter that has a large print on it. Prior free-motion experience is not required!
