Description
Skill Level: Intermediate
Arrive to the beach in style this Summer with a handmade beach bag! This bag is roomy enough to stash towels, a change of clothes, sunblock, reading materials and more so you're all set with the essentials for a perfect beach day. Brandt features six exterior pockets, an attached interior zippered pocket to store your cellphone and keys, and sturdy webbing straps making it easy to carry over your shoulder. Not to mention, the mesh exterior prevents bringing all the sand home with you! Plus, it's lightweight and folds easily to fit in your suitcase.
In this 2-week class, students will learn basic bag construction, including sewing with mesh material, sewing on webbing strapping/handles, and making a zippered pocket. This class is suitable for advanced beginner to intermediate level students who have prior bag making experience. Students must be able to confidently thread and operate a sewing machine independently.
