Description
Skill Level: Intermediate | Instructor: Valeria Guimaraes
See class dates listed below.
Join expert quilter Valeria Guimaraes in the studio to make the beautiful City Center Quilt by FreeSpirit Fabrics. This is a 6-week series beginning in March. There will be multi-week breaks between some sessions for students to complete homework.
The City Center Quilt uses traditional patchwork piecing with precise 1/4" seams, creating geometric blocks with light and dark contrasting fabrics. Skills learned in this class include strip piecing, handling bias edges, and block assembly.
The finished quilt top measures 80" x 80". Students will only be making the quilt top in class, leaving the remaining quilting assembly to be completed at home or in one of our Quilting Labs.
Class will meet two times per month from March to May. Students will have homework to complete in between classes.
