Description
Skill Level: Intermediate | Instructor: Pat Cullen
Class Session: Thursdays, February 5+ 12 - 10:30am-12:30pm
Available in three sizes, Drop Zone is a multipurpose zippered pouch that opens up to create a shallow tray that provides great visibility and easy access to contents. These zippered pouch trays are great for storing a variety of smaller items, such as your sewing notions, craft supplies, art tools and more. The grab tabs on the pouch make opening and closing a breeze, and the optional hardware on one end may be used to attach a strap or other object.
Students have the option of making the Medium or Large sized zipper pouch tray in class. For refernece, the class photo features the Medium Size.
Finished Dimensions:
- Medium: 2-1/2" H x 7" W x 5" D when open; 2½"H x 7"W x 2½"D when closed
- Large: 3" H x 9" W x 6" D when open; 3" H x 9" W x 3" D when closed
During this class, students will practice sewing with zippers and installing bag hardware. This 4-hour class is suitable for intermediate students. Ideally, students will have taken our Simple Zipper Pouch class or have prior experience sewing with zippers. Students must be able to confidently thread and operate a sewing machine independently.
