This gorgeous fall inspired pillow compliments any living room or bedroom during the autumn season. Once you learn how to sew one pillow, you'll want to keep sewing more to gift to your friends and family - it makes the perfect housewarming gift for any new homeowners this fall!
This project incorporates traditional piecing methods to make a beautiful star design pillow. The pillow features an elegant pumpkin in the center, with accent leaves surrounding it. Dimensions of the completed pillow are 20" x 20".
This class is suitable for students who have taken our Quilting 101 class or have an equivalent experience level with quilting. Students must be able to confidently thread and operate a sewing machine independently, and may be required to complete homework in between classes in order to finish their project on time.
Required Materials:
- (1) Pattern: Pumpkin Barn Star Pillow by Tipsy Needle
- 3/8 yard of background fabric
- (1) fat quarter for main fabric
- (1) fat quarter for accent fabric
- (1) 6" x 7" scrap fabric for pumpkin
- (1) 2" x 3" scrap fabric for pumpkin stem
- (1) 3" x 5" scrap fabric for pumpkin leaves
- 1/2 yard fabric for back of pillow
- 1/4 yard binding fabric
- (1) 20" pillow form
