This unique Flying Geese Belt Bag by Minki Kim is sure to become your new everyday favorite! Join Erin in the studio to make your very own - we're offering this class as a 2-part weekend class or a 3-week evening series - choose the session that works best for you.
The Flying Geese Belt Bag features a front panel strip of (13) flying geese blocks. An adjustable strap gives you wearing options - wrap it around your waist for a true fanny pack, or extend the straps and wear over your shoulder like a traditional cross-body purse. Finished Dimensions: 8-1/2" x 5" 4-1/4".
Skills learned in the class include the quilt-as-you-go Flying Geese technique, installing bag hardware, sewing a zipper, and interior binding of seams.
This class is suitable for intermediate to advanced level students. Students must have prior bag making and quilting experience, and should be comfortable completing homework on their own in between classes.
