Ready to enhance your garment sewing skills? Join Nancy in this brand-new 2-week class to learn how make three types of pockets - patch pocket, inseam pocket, and welt pocket!

Class will be broken up into two sessions. The class will cover the following skills to help you advance your knowledge and expertise in making garments.

During the first class, students will learn:

• how to make a curved patch pocket from start to finish
• begin learning how to make a welt pocket

During the second class, students will:

• finish making a welt pocket
• learn how to make an inseam pocket from start to finish

Students will practice these techniques on prepped muslin swatches. Nancy will walk your through each skill set and then you will be given the chance to make each pocket yourself! 

This class is suitable for confident beginner sewists who have prior garment making experience - great for our Garment 101 grads! Students must be able to confidently thread and operate a sewing machine independently.
