Skill Level: Intermediate | Instructor: Erin Baginski
Class Session: Tuesdays, April 7, 14, 21, 28 - 6:30pm-8:30pm
Introducing the newest garment pattern release by our in-house pattern brand, Studio M Squared - the Sunset Shift Dress! The Sunset Shift is a breezy, dart-free shift dress that makes summer dressing effortlessly stylish and comfortable. It features a keyhole opening at back with tie closure and inseam pockets. The pattern offers two views; in class we'll be making Version B which is a fully lined dress, perfect for more sheer fabrics or for using patchwork with unfinished seams.
During this 4-week class, students will practice popular garment-making skills, including sewing a bias binding, making armholes, and sewing a keyhole opening in the back. This class is suitable for intermediate level students who have taken our Garment 101 class or have an equivalent experience level. Students must be able to confidently thread and operate a sewing machine independently.
