Description
Skill Level: Intermediate
Class Dates: Sundays, January 10 + 17 - 12pm-4pm
Your cute new sidekick bag awaits! The Bestie Bag by Blackbird Fabrics is a banana-shaped carry-all companion designed to be thrown over your shoulder or to be worn as a cross-body bag. Featuring two interior pockets - one single pocket and two divided pockets - these compartments are perfect for storing smaller items such as your keys, chapstick, and credit cards. The bag is large enough to easily store your wallet, phone, or even a small notebook to keep track of your shopping list while running errands.
The pattern offers four views, however in class we'll be making View A which is a medium-sized bag with a flat front and webbing handles. During this 2-weekend class, students will practice basic bag making skills, including sewing with zippers, installing bag hardware, and attaching cotton webbing for straps. This class is suitable for intermediate level students who have prior bag sewing experience and who can confidently thread and operate a sewing machine independently.
