Description
This class is a prerequisite for all of our kids' classes. Once your child completes this Beginner Workshop, they're eligible to enroll in the following kids classes + programs:
- "Sewciety Kids' 6-week After-School Program (runs from September-June)
- Spring Break Camp (runs end of March/early April)
- 10-week Summer Camp (runs end of June to end of August - morning or afternoon sessions available)
- Mini-Camps (offered on a monthly basis)
- Kids' Night Out Workshops (offered once a month on Friday nights)
In this Beginner Workshop, kids aged 7+ will learn how to use a sewing machine. They'll learn sewing machine basics, including: how to wind a bobbin, thread the machine and how to sew straight, even seams. Students will also complete a project to take home in this workshop. All materials included!
The cost includes registration for your child. If your child is under 9 years old, you will only need to register for one seat, but please put both of your names when registering in the 'Attendee Spot' at registration.
Note: Please arrive to class on time, as essential information is given in the first few minutes of class. Students arriving late to class will not be permitted in the classroom.
