During this 2.5-hour masterclass, Erin will teach you all about buttons and buttonholes when it comes to garment sewing.  The class will cover the following skills to help you advance your knowledge and expertise in making garments:

Buttons:

• types of buttons
• button placement
• hand sewing vs. machine sewing a button on

Buttonholes:

• types of buttonholes
• buttonhole sizing
• horizontal vs. vertical buttonholes
• buttonhole feet
• opening a buttonhole

This class is suitable for confident beginner sewists who have prior garment making experience - great for our Garment 101 grads!  Students must be able to confidently thread and operate a sewing machine independently.
