Class Dates: Thursdays, December 3, 10 + 17 - 6:30pm-8:30pm

The Craft Studio Tee is an easy-to-sew garment designed for everyday creativity and comfortable wear. With its relaxed oversized fit, dropped shoulders, and clean modern shape, this boxy tee is a versatile wardrobe staple you'll want to sew again and again.

The oversized, wide boxy fit is effortlessly cool, with a slightly cropped length, hint of a boat neck neckline and sleeves that hit above the wrist. But here’s where it gets really fun—this tee features a front and back seam, inviting you to experiment with patchwork, color blocking, or even upcycling fabrics. The neckline is finished with a fuss-free facing, making it a breeze to sew. Whether you’re brand new to sewing or a seasoned stitcher looking for a quick and satisfying make, the Craft Studio Tee is a joy to create.

This class is suitable for confident beginner to intermediate level students who have taken our Garment 101 class or have an equivalent experience level.  Students must be able to confidently thread and operate a sewing machine independently.

    Required Materials:

    PDF Pattern Note:

    • Students must purchase and download the PDF pattern from Matchy Matchy Club's website. Upon purchase, students are required to email proof of purchase to Kaitlin (Class Program Manager) at classes@urbansewciety.com.
    • Once proof of PDF pattern is received, Urban Sewciety will print a wide-format copy of the PDF pattern and provide it to students on the day of class.
    • Students are responsible for printing out the instructions for the pattern and bringing it to class with them.

    Recommended Fabrics:

    • The Craft Studio Tee works beautifully in light to medium weight woven fabrics. Linen creates a relaxed drape, while cotton canvas or denim give the tee a more sculptural silhouette.
    • As with all garment classes, we recommend that students PRE-WASH their fabric prior to class.
