Skill Level: Advanced Beginner to Intermediate

Isidore by Sallie Tomato is a custom-sizable padded pocket perfect for storing your electronic devices. Featuring an exterior slip pocket and a magnetic snap for closure, this pouch is the perfect accessory when you're commuting to work, traveling, or simply on-the-go. It is large enough to store a standard size tablet, iPad or Kindle. The quilted exterior gives it extra structure to ensure your electronics are secured. During this 3-hour class, students will practice their quilting skills, install a metal snap, and sew an exterior, pleated pocket. This class is suitable for advanced beginner to intermediate level students who can confidently thread and operate a sewing machine independently.

Finished Bag Dimensions: 9-1/2" wide x 9-1/2" high x 1-1/2" deep.

Required Materials:

• (1) Pattern: Isidore by Sallie Tomato
• 1/3 yard main fabric
• 1/3 yard lining fabric
• 2" x 2" scrap for closure tab) - will be provided to you
• 1-1/2 yards of Pellon SF101
• 1/3 yard of Soft & Stable
  
• (1) 1/2" magnetic snap
• (1) spool of coordinating thread

Recommended Fabrics:

• We recommend using quilting cotton, canvas, duck canvas, or coated cotton for the main fabric, quilting cotton for the lining fabric and faux leather or cork for the contrast fabric.
