Skill Level: Confident Beginner
Make a quick and easy keepsake project this June! In this class, you'll turn any graphic t-shirt (a special loved one's, college, high school, sports team, etc) into a fun pillow with coordinating fabric borders. It makes a perfect, thoughtful handmade gift for Father's Day!
This class is suitable for confident beginner students who have taken our Sewing 101 class or have an equivalent experience level. Students must be able to confidently thread and operate a sewing machine independently.
Required Materials:
- (1) Pattern: Memory Lane by Studio M Squared
- (1) T-Shirt of your choosing - please make sure the body of the T-Shirt measures at least 14" wide when laid flat
- (1) spool of coordinating thread

If you are making a 16" pillow, you will need:
- 1/4 yard of main fabric (for sashing)
- 1/2 yard of accent fabric (for cornerstones + pillow back)
- 3/8 yard of Pellon SF101
- (1) 16" pillow form
If you are making an 18" pillow, you will need:
- 1/4 yard of main fabric (for sashing)
- 5/8 yard of accent fabric (for cornerstones + pillow back)
- 1/2 yard of Pellon SF101
- (1) 18" pillow form
Recommended Fabric: We suggest using quilting cotton for the main and accent fabrics.
