Discover how easy and precise it is to create a complete, quilted zipper pouch on the embroidery machine - no zipper foot required! Int his hands-on machine embroidery class, students will work on our Skyline S9 classroom machines to create a fully lined quilted zipper pouch, almost entirely constructed in-the-hoop!
This class is perfect for exploring new in-the-hoop techniques. Students will also learn how to assemble a lined zipper pouch on the regular sewing machine. Students must be able to confidently thread and operate a sewing machine independently.
Required Materials:
- (2) fat quarters - one for the pouch exterior, one for the pouch lining
- (1) 9" zipper
- (1) spool of cotton or sew-all thread
- (1) Stabilizer Kit: kit includes (2) 8" x 10" pieces of batting and (2) 1/3 yard of Stitch-n-Tear stabilizer. Kits will be available to purchase on the day of class.
