Please Note: Due to the special nature of this class, this class is NOT eligible for Winter Class Pass.

Create beautiful quilt labels entirely in the hoop! In this class, you'll stitch a preloaded design that includes blank areas for names or dates. You'll also learn how to add sashing directly in the hoop, giving your label a finished, quilted frame without any additional patchwork after the embroidery is complete. Perfect for gifting a quilt or keeping a record of your own work.

No embroidery machine experience is necessary. Any student who chooses to purchase a Janome embroidery machine or combo sewing + embroidery machine on the day of the class will be credited back the entire class registration fee.

Required Materials:

1/3 yard of Stitch-N-Tear Pellon Stabilizer
(1) 9" x 9" piece of batting
(1) 10" x 10" square for the quilt label (should be a low volume blender or solid; you can use quilting cotton or linen)
1/8 yard fabric for border
Mettler embroidery thread - number of spools/colors depends on the design you choose for the quilt labels; please see the photos in the listing and descriptions below
