Skill Level: Open to all Needlepoint crafters; no sewing experience required

Guest instructor Marisa Simon is back with a brand new workshop for all you needlepoint lovers! Join us for a fun workshop where you will finish your current needlepoint WIP and turn it into a round, decorative ornament just in time for the holidays!  

In this class, students will learn how to finish a completed ROUND needlepoint project with hand sewing techniques into a 4" ornament using the no-glue, 2-cookie method. Once you learn the method, you can easily turn any of your needlepoint projects into thoughtful, personalized gifts for your loved ones. A majority of the materials will be provided for you for class - see below for the list of required materials that students MUST bring to class with them.

This class is suitable for all levels of needlepoint crafters.  Students must bring a stitched and blocked 4" round. This is NOT a learn-to-needlepoint class.  Spots are limited to (6) students per class, so make sure to reserve your spot!

Required Materials:

• (1) stitched and blocked 4" needlepoint round
• (1) 6" square of coordinating quilting cotton fabric
• (1) or (2) skeins of embroidery floss (used for cording)

All other materials needed for class will be provided by the instructor.

About the Instructor:

Marisa is a life-long stitcher with over 25 years of experience in the craft industry.  For the last five years, she has worked as an independent fabric sales representative taking her to independent fabric and craft stores throughout New Jersey and the NYC metro area.
