Description
Skill Level: Intermediate
Make a quilted zipper bag in this class! "Open Wide" from By Annie is a popular favorite amongst the sewing community. It's the perfect storage solution for your sewing tools and notions, or use it as a make-up or travel bag when you're on the go. This bag's design makes it a favorite because of the way the zipper is installed, allowing the bag to "open wide" at the top and making it super easy to access what's inside - plus, the interior mesh pockets keep all your essentials organzied and within view.
During this 2-weekend class, we'll be making the medium sized zipper bag. Students will work with zippes, mesh fabric, fold-over elastic and will practice their binding skills. This class is suitable for intermediate level students who have prior bag making experience and are comfortable working with zippers. Students must be able to confidently thread and operate a sewing machine independently.
