To successfully complete this project, kids should know the following terms:Ê

¥ seam allowanceÊ

¥ right sides togetherÊ

Material Requirements:Ê

Use woven fabrics such as quilting cotton, linen or flannel.Ê

¥ (9) small pieces of fabric for the pillow front - must be at least 6Ó x 6Ó each
¥ (1) FQ for the pillow backing (a fat quarter is a pre-cut square of fabric that measures 22Ó x 18Ó)
¥ 1/2 yard of fusible fleece
¥ Polyfil stuffing
¥ 1 spool of coordinating thread

¥ Point turner*
¥ Quarter inch presser foot*
