Description
Skill Level: Confident Beginner
Please Note: This freebie class is for ADULTS ONLY! It will not be staffed to allow for kids; please do not register your child for this class. Thank you!
Learn how to make some simple storage baskets for your home or office. These baskets are constructed quite simply - just two fat quarters and some clever folding and stitching and you have a set of coordinating baskets, available in three sizes! We'll be making the large basket in this class - however, more experienced sewists may be able to make more than one during class. Once you learn how to make one, you'll leave the class with the knowledge and confident to make the small and medium size at home.
This class is suitable for beginner level sewists who have taken our Sewing 101 class or have equivalent basic sewing machine experience. Students must be able to confidently thread and operate a sewing machine independently. This is NOT a learn-to-sew class.
Finished Dimensions:
- Small Basket: 4-1/2" x 4-1/2" x 3" tall
- Medium Basket: 7" x 7" x 3-1/2"
- Large Basket: 8" x 8" x 5" tall - this is the size we'll be making in class!
Important Note:
- All materials must be purchased in our shop to ensure you have the correct materials. Our staff is happy to assist you!
