How cute are these festive holiday gift bags? This fun holiday project is an easy sew and the perfect holiday gift or re-usable Christmas wrapping! The drawstring gift bag is beginner-friendly and fully lined and is great project to showcase your favorite holiday fabrics! The pattern offers three views, and students can make either size in class.

This class is suitable for confident beginner students who have taken our Sewing 101 class or have an equivalent experience level. Students must be able to confidently thread and operate a sewing machine independently.

Finished Tree Bag Dimensions:

• Small: 8" H x 7" W
• Medium: 11" H x 9-1/2" W
• Large: 14" H x 13-1/2" W

Required Materials:

• (1) PDF Pattern: Christmas Tree Bags by Patterns by LL
• exterior fabric: 1/4 yard for small; 1/3 yard for medium; 1/2 yard for large
• lining fabric: 1/4 yard for small; 1/3 yard for medium; 1/2 yard for large
• 1/2" wide twill tape: 1/2 yard for small; 5/8 yard for medium; 7/8 yard for large
• (1) spool of thread

Recommended Fabrics:

• We recommend using quilting cotton for this project.
