Skill Level: Confident Beginner to Intermediate

Class Date: Thursday, December 3 - 6:30pm-9pm 

Get into the holiday spirit with this block demo class! During this class, Nancy will demonstrate how to make (1) patchwork tree block from the Oh, Christmas Tree! pattern by Studio M Squared.  Students can turn this block into a wall hanging or complete it as a full table runner, as suggested in the pattern.

In class, students will practice their rotary cutting, piecing, and patchwork skills. This class is suitable for advanced beginner students with prior quilting experience.  Students must be able to confidently thread and operate a sewing machine, and must have basic quilting experience. Graduates of our Quilting 101 class are encouraged to register!

Required Materials:

• (1) Pattern: Oh, Christmas Tree! by Studio M Squared
• (4) 1/8 yard coordinating prints (for tree body)
• (1) 3" square (for tree trunk)
• (1) fat quarter for background fabric
  
• (1) spool of coordinating thread

Alternatively, if you wish to make a full table runner, you can purchase:

• (1) Project Kit: Oh, Christmas Tree Table Runner - kit includes all fabric needed to make a completed table runner that measures 14-1/2" wide x 50" long. Thread sold separately.

Recommended Fabric: We suggest using quilting cotton or linen blends for this project.
