The Clover Coat is a trendy, oversized cocoon-style coat that can be made from a completed quilt or from quilted pieces custom made for this garment. It is quick and easy to make, constructed of just three pieces, then finished with bias binding. Clover is designed to be roomy for maximum coziness; if a closer fit is desired, just size down!

Material Requirements:

To make the Clover Coat, you can upcycle an already completed quilt, or create unique patchwork pieces and quilt them. The minimum dimensions of quilted fabric required for each size are indicated in the chart below. Note that if you're using a finished quilt and want to fussy cut specific areas of it for the coat, a larger sized quilt may be needed.
