Crossway is a clever, modern bag that does it all. You can carry it with both straps slung over your shoulder or as a backpack. Or just grab the small handle and go! We designed Crossway as a knitting project bag but it's great for so many uses Ð the small bag is perfect for running errands or shopping, while the bigger bag is great for work or for heading to the beach or pool. Lightweight, sleek, and super cute, the Crossway bag will be your new favorite make!

Features: Both bags have a magnetic snap closure. Small bag has three divided pockets. Large bag has five divided pockets and a single pocket large enough for magazines or pattern books.

Finished bag dimensions:
Small Bag: 12" tall, 13" wide at top, 7-1/2" wide at bottom, 5" deep 
Large Bag: 14" tall, 15" wide at top, 9" wide at bottom, 6" deep 

Note: Using Soft & Stable foam as a stabilizer gives the bag structure and allows it to stand up on its own Ð this quality is desirable for a project bag. For a less structured bag, you can substitute fusible fleece for the Soft & Stable.

Pattern pieces are included in the pattern if you do not have rotary cutting experience. There are paper patterns or a Piece ID List for those experienced with rotary cutting.

Main Fabric: Quilting cotton or canvas
Accent Fabric: Quilting cotton or canvas
Lining & Pocket Fabric: Quilting cotton
Straps: Cotton webbing - 1" (2.54cm) wide for small bag, 1-1/2" (3.81cm) wide for large bag
Handle: 1" (2.54cm) wide cotton webbing, leather or faux leather

- Pocket Fabric: (1) fat quarter OR 3/8 yard (0.35m) OR use remaining lining fabric
- Soft n Stable Foam (58" wide): 1/2 yard (0.46m)
- Pellon SF101 Interfacing: 1 yard (0.9144m)
- Straps: 2 yards (1.83m)
- Handle: 1/4 yard (0.23m)
