This pattern includes instructions to make pumpkins in three sizes so you can create a whole pumpkin patch!
Finished Sizes:
Large pumpkin: 7" (17.78cm) diameter x 4" (10.16cm) tall
Medium pumpkin: 5" (12.7cm) diameter x 3" (7.62cm) tall
Small pumpkin: 4" (10.16cm) diameter x 2-1/2" (6.35cm) tall
Difficulty: For beginners
Pattern pieces are included in the pattern if you do not have rotary cutting experience. There are paper patterns or a Piece ID List for those experienced with rotary cutting.
Recommended Materials:
Main Fabric: Lightweight to medium weight cotton fabric (see Material Requirement chart below for amount)
Notions Needed:
Embroidery thread
Approximately 1/2 cup of uncooked rice
Polyfil stuffing
3 yards (2.7m) jute twine
Stem material:
- Large pumpkin: 3/4" (19mm) diameter wood dowel, 2" (5.08cm) long (or a wine cork)
- Medium pumpkin: 3/8" (9.5mm) diameter wood dowel, 1-1/4" (3.2cm) long
- Small pumpkin: 5/16" (8mm) diameter wood dowel, 1-1/4" (3.2cm) long
(1) spool of thread
Material Requirements:
- Small Pumpkin: (1) fat quarter or (1) fat eighth
- Medium Pumpkin/Large Pumpkin: (1) fat quarter
